Who is Sarah Gabe?My name is Vivian Gabriel, and I am the Designer and CEO of Sarah Gabe, based in the United Kingdom. Coming from a largely self-taught background, I have always been deeply fascinated by prints, colours, sketching, design, and garment making. Before beginning my formal studies, I spent countless hours experimenting with different fabrics and teaching myself through exploration. I would often visit clothing stores and haberdasheries to study fabric textures, examine garment designs, and observe the techniques behind their construction. I later pursued Art and Design, which strengthened my creative foundation, and continued studying Fashion and Textiles, where I gained a deeper understanding of garment construction, textiles, design processes, and the technical elements of fashion. Much of my inspiration comes from the world around me: people, places, and nature. I find beauty in everyday moments and transform them into designs that celebrate creativity, individuality, and artistic expression |
